Background checks (ZÜP)

From 3 December 2021, all background checks – including those previously carried out by the company itself – must be submitted to the Federal Ministry of Transport, Building and Urban Affairs via the "Background Check / Aviation Security" application available in the USP. The check is carried out by the BMK and the security authorities. The result of the check is communicated to the companies by BMK and can be seen in the ZÜP application.
